tessellations of flesh & water

watching

listening

thickening

finding myself

weeping

in the kitchen

the dawn chorus sweeping in

as light from the window

reflects iridescent

cobwebs

leaning on cold steel

the water boils

grief sliding down my skin

a cycle in coils

salt water and steam and...

strange enjoyment

at the rawness of

the moment

how do you contain it all?

how do you function?

i pour down over terrain

try and... rhyme

as I play with the nature

of time

in a way that I don't

malfunction
